DORINA MONFERRATO ROSSO DOC
LOCATION
Owned vineyards located on the beautiful Colli Tortonesi hills around the town of Tortona, in south-east Piedmont
CHARACTERISTICS
Deep very intense ruby red when young, gamel red when aged. Bouquet is fresh, fruity and vibrant, rich of red berry and blackberry ripe fruit, with a slight hint of toasted coffee beans. The taste is rich, velvety, and powerful of ripe flavors. Dry, full bodied, with the right acidity and round tannins. It explodes in a very long harmonious finish.
Food Pairings
Excellent with seasoned cheese, roasted and braised red meat, especially lamb and duck, pork ribs, burgers, and steaks.

Piemonte DOC Area in the regions of Asti and Alesandria
CHARACTERISTICS
Color is clear, deep ruby red when young, garnet red when aged. Bouquet is vinous, very intense and pleasant, full of fruity aromas. The taste is fresh, very harmonious and pleasant, but elegant on the palate, with a good body
Food Pairings
Excellent with Italian Antipasti (appetizers), but also goes very well with delicate poultry food, especially duck.
